Beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great Grandma. Aida Miriam Vega Rodriquez Pabón, wife of the late Heriberto Pabón, died on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico on August 22, 1938, she was the daughter of Ana Rodriguez Acevedo and the late Daniel Vega. She is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia Pabón, Marilyn Pabón-Maldonado and husband Raymond F. Maldonado, Beatrice Pabón and her husband Angel Nieves; her grandchildren, Jose Arroyo and Christopher Ray Maldonado; her siblings, Isis G. Vega, Pedro Antonio Vega and Gustavo A.Vega; her stepfather Candido Acevedo; her step-granddaughter Vanessa Maldonado and husband Mark Andre, and great grandchildren, Brianna, Joe, Marcus and Damian. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Daniel Vega, Aelis Vega,Yulin Vega and her granddaughter, Christina Nicole Maldonado.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 7th from 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00am, at Saint Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533 (845) 227-8380. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
