Aileen Ryan died on June 28, 2025, at Hudson Valley Hospice House. She was 86.

She loved the city-Broadway shows, opera and symphony performances, visiting museums, and martinis with Ed. She enjoyed a Pall Mall and a crossword puzzle and was allergic to taking the same route twice.
Small, mighty, quiet, fierce, stubborn, loving, she was an excellent cook and a proud mother.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ed; her brothers, Roland and Kevin Mahony; and her grandson, Sean Ryan.
