Alan E. Bonds Jr., 65, an area resident since 2000 and previously of El Segundo, CA, died on January 15, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on October 12, 1955 in the Bronx, Alan was the son of Alan Bonds and Jeannie (Bierner Bonds) Meade.

Alan worked for 21st Century Fox for 32 years until his retirement in 2020 as Chief of Maintenance. He enjoyed his Harleys and classic cars. Being the only male in a house full of women, his life was like a hockey game, 3 periods and a lot of fights.

Alan is survived by his daughters, Kayla of Poughkeepsie, and Jessy of Texas; his mother, Jeannette of Hopewell Junction; and his wife, Dawn Bonds. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Jeannette in 2004.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
