Albert C. Jessup, 88, a resident of the Town of LaGrange for 15 years and formerly of Peekskill, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Peekskill on November 7, 1924, he was one of eleven children of Charles and Emeline Croft Jessup. Albert proudly served our country in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed as the General Manager for Elmsford Auto Body.

On August 19, 1945 in Peekskill, Albert married Jane McLaughlin who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Edward P. Jessup and his wife Jean of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Ryan Jessup of Sarasota, FL and Ashley Scelia and her husband Edmond of Wappingers Falls; his great-grandson, Nicholas Edmond Scelia of Wappingers Falls; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am at All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church, 133 North Cross Road, LaGrangeville followed by entombment in Hillside Cemetery with military honors.
