Albert J. Gesue Jr., 83, a resident of Wappingers Falls for over 30 years and previously of Peekskill, died on October 21, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on May 16, 1938 in Ossining, Albert was the son of Albert J. and Angela (Furnaro) Gesue.
Albert proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1961- 1964. He was the Owner and Operator of Al's Glass Service in Ossining for over 60 years.
Albert was an avid card player at the American Legion and Moose Club in Ossining, enjoyed spending time gambling at the casinos and auto racing for over 33 years. He was the best person in the world who loved rooting his Mets and Jets.
Albert married Annette Russo Kellard Gesue who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters, Gina (Frank) Parasiliti of Poughquag, Paula (Michael) Greer of Hopewell Jct., Laura Capogrosso of Wappingers Falls, Kristina (John) Mancini of Poughkeepsie, Jennifer Shea of Staten Island; his grandchildren, Joseph, Harrison, Frankie, Jenna, Hannah, Noelle, Justin, John Paul, Ethan and Sarafina; his siblings, Joseph Gesue and Joy Chiulli; his first wife, Vincienne Gesue; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., Fishkill followed by entombment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
