Albert John Rampert Jr. ("Jack") passed away on August 14, 2024 at the age of 84. He was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on August 25, 1939 to the late Albert John Rampert Sr. and Helen (Ajaski) Rampert. On July 18, 1964 in Mt. Vernon, NY. Albert married his beloved wife Dorothy "Dottie" (Wallin) Rampert. Dottie survives at home.

Jack graduated from A.B. Davis High School in 1957, where he was a member of the swim team. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a former active Member of the Elks Lodge in Mt. Vernon for many years. Jack also owned a clothing store in Mt. Vernon called Jake's Apparel.

Jack was very much into sports and outdoor activities. He was an avid golfer, and also loved to go fishing, skiing, and diving. When he was not being active, you could find him rooting for all his favorite NY sports teams.

In addition to his beloved wife Dottie, he is survived by his sons: Jack Rampert and his wife Barbara, and David Rampert; his grandchildren: Kevin, Michael, Justin, and Brianna; and his sister Barbara Bertocchi, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jack was predeceased by his son Thomas Michael Rampert in 1992.

Calling hours will be held on Monday August 19th, 2024 from 9 – 11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. Interment will immediately follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
