BEACON – Alberta Marie McCoy Wallin, a former resident of Beacon and Peekskill, died on her 64th birthday, July 3, 2018, at the Sharon Health Care Center in CT.

Born on July 3, 1954 in Peekskill, Alberta was the daughter of the late Harold Thomas and Rose (Nuzzi) McCoy.

She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Leigh Mandigo and her husband Arthur of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Amanda Mandigo-Wilson and Brandon Mandigo of Kentucky; her brother, Howard McCoy, Jr. of Fishkill; her nieces and nephews, David McCoy, Kelly McCoy, and Alexandra McCoy; her great-nieces and great-nephews; her former husband, Anthony Romano of Poughkeepsie; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Alberta had worked for many charitable organizations including the Salvation Army and Goodwill. Most of all, she loved being a mom and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
