HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Aldo G. Siccardi, 88, an area resident since 1965, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in New York City on March 3, 1928, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Trossello) Siccardi. Aldo grew up in Italy and returned to New York City when he was 18. He was a partner in Heidl and Siccardi Upholstery in Fishkill for over 26 years until his retirement.
Aldo is survived by his daughter, Linda McPhee and her husband Thomas of LaGrangeville; his son, John Siccardi of Rochester; his grandchildren, Michael McPhee and his wife Christine, Carolyn McPhee, Joseph Siccardi, and Mackenzie Siccardi; and his companion of 30 years, Doris Hamilton of Hopewell Junction.
On May 16, 1953 in North Adams, MA, Aldo married Elvira C. Barone Siccardi who predeceased him in 1983 after 30 years of marriage.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Aldo's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. Please visit Aldo's Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
