FISHKILL – Alfred H. Brent, 78, died peacefully at his home on March 30, 2022.
Born in Mount Kisco on December 21, 1943, he was the son of Alfred and Elizabeth (Jacob) Brent. Al proudly served our country in the US Army National Guard and had been employed as a switchman for New York Telephone/Verizon in Peekskill.
An area resident for 16 years, he formerly lived in Yorktown. Al enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing baseball and softball.
Al is survived by his wife of 34 years, Winifred (Brown) Brent; their children, Brian Dietz and wife Allyson, Jody Moschiano, Lisa Argyle and husband Keith, Jennifer Michel and partner Michael Cavaluzzi, Greg Brent and wife Kathy, Jenny Zorrilla and husband Francisco, and Heather Scroope and husband Rob; his brother, Frederick Brent and wife Pin; and sixteen grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rosa Brent.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
Memorial donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation.
