Alfred Scarinci, a devoted husband, beloved uncle, and proud veteran, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Alfred lived a life full of adventure, warmth, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. An avid hunter and an even greater storyteller, he was always the life of the party, bringing laughter and energy wherever he went. Fiercely protective of his family, friends, and neighbors, Alfred was the kind of man who could always be counted on.

After serving his country overseas, he settled in Mahopac, NY, before spending his later years in Fishkill and eventually moving to an assisted living facility near his nephew Joseph. Though he and his beloved wife, Dina, never had children, their love was the foundation of their lives, and now, after years apart, they are reunited once again.

Alfred is survived by his niece Diane, nephews John and Joseph, and many other nieces and nephews across the country who will cherish his memory. His kindness, humor, and larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Alfred's life will be held from 11am - 1pm Monday February 24, 2025 at McHoul Funeral Home, 1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a story, raising a glass, or simply being the kind of good neighbor he always was.

Rest easy, Uncle Alfred. You will be missed but never forgotten.
