Alfredo S. Tabliago, 89, an area resident since 1989, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He previously lived in Elmsford, Westchester County.
He was born in the Philippines on March 10, 1925. Alfredo and his wife owned and operated Tabliago Veterans Family Type Homes in Stormville for over 25 years. He was a parishioner at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
Alfredo is survived by his wife Celestina (Lacaste) Tabliago; his children, Christine Sullivan and her husband Kevin of Woodbridge, CT; Frederick Tabliago and his wife Alicia of Buffalo, and Allan Tabliago of Washington Township, NJ; his grandchildren, Jonathan Sullivan, Grace Sullivan, Christian Tabliago, and Camilla Belle Tabliago; his brother, Nepocenong Tabliago of the Philippines; and his sister, Caridad Tabliago of the Philippines.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 -4 and 7 – 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 12 pm at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
