Alice Campbell of Middletown, NY since 2019 died peacefully on December 14, 2025 at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Prior to moving to Middletown, she was a long-time resident of Wappingers Falls, Bronxville and Yonkers. She was 79 years old.

Alice was born on September 12, 1946 to Leslie and Eleanor (Swartout) White in Yonkers, NY. She attended SUNY Oneonta for Teaching. She was employed by Technicon Corporation in Yonkers for several years and later was a secretary for a psychiatrist in Westchester and legal secretary for a law practice in White Plains.

In 1972, she married the love of her life, Edward Campbell. Edward predeceased her in 2017. Alice was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fishkill, NY where she sang in the Choir. She loved music, theatre and singing. She was a great cook and enjoyed hosting company in her home. Alice was an avid Mets fan and loved an occasional trip to take in a game at Shea Stadium or watch them on TV. She enjoyed the challenge of completing the Sunday crossword puzzle in the paper. She was a super smart individual and her claim to fame was as a contestant on Jeopardy in the early 1970's when the show was filmed in Rockefeller Center in NYC and hosted by Art Fleming.

Alice loved a vacation, especially spending time in Ocean Grove, NJ with her friends and in Cooperstown, NY, while staying at the Otesaga Hotel with Ed in their later years. But more than anything and most importantly, she thoroughly enjoyed watching her three children grow and flourish becoming successful professionals and spending time with her eight grandchildren, of whom she was so proud.

Alice is survived by her daughter Leslie Vento and her husband, Michael of Chester, NY, her son Todd Campbell and his wife, Julie of Wallkill, NY, and her son, Douglas Campbell, and his wife, Elizabeth of Westbury, NY; her grandchildren, Camryn Vento, Cali Vento, Ryan Campbell, Landon Campbell, Rory Campbell, Frances Campbell, Charles Campbell and William Campbell; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 10:00 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1400 Route 52, Fishkill, NY followed by burial at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
