Obituary

Alice Gloria Hall, a resident of Franklin and formerly of Fishkill & Yorktown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. She was 93.

Daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Baczkowska) Motyka, she was born in Flushing, Queens on October 22, 1927. Alice worked in the food service industry for many years and retired as assistant manager for Stouffer's Cafeteria at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville. As an artist, Alice loved painting and was a member of the Delhi Art Group.

On June 26, 1954, she married E. Gordon Hall, Jr. in Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her husband on November 20, 1976.

Survivors include her daughters, Andree Christman of Fishkill, and Diana Hall & her husband Lee of Franklin; her son, John Hall of Putnam Valley; her grandchildren: Ari Greenfield, Rob Christman, and Alison Christman; her great-grandson, Chase Christman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Alice was also predeceased by two brothers, Henry and Edmund Motyka; her son-in-law, Bob Christman; and her partner, George Hanson.

Interment will be in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
