Alice M. Rasmussen, 93, of LaGrange, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on April 21, 1918 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Chris & Oda (Nielsen) Bjerg. She moved to Denmark when she was 6 years old & lived most of her life there. At age 87, she returned to the United States. Her husband, Alfred Rasmussen, predeceased her in 1970.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Irene Pomilla and her husband Frank of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Thomas Pomilla and his wife Neva of Spokane, WA, Robert Pomilla of Poughkeepsie, Frank Pomilla and his fiancée Cathy of LaGrange, Kenneth Pomilla and his wife Kristi of Wappingers Falls, & Suzanne Liguori of LaGrange; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
