Alma Burfeind's Obituary
Alma J. Burfeind, 96, died on April 24, 2017 at the Wingate at Dutchess.
Born in New York City on July 25, 1920, she was one of seven children of John Schroer and Antonia Bebar.
Alma had worked for many years at L'Obells in Glendale. She enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Alma was predeceased by her husband, August Burfeind. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Joyce and Robert Zuznis of Hopewell Junction, and Laura and Chuck Welyczko of Corinth, TX; and her grandchildren, Doreen and Rob Zuznis, Douglas and Michael Welyczko.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11am-12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be at 12pm followed by entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
