Amber Klatt's Obituary
LAGRANGEVILLE – Amber Diana Klatt, 91, a longtime resident of Lagrangeville, died at her home on June 6, 2022. She previously lived in the Bronx.
Born on October 16, 1930 in the Bronx, Amber was the daughter of the late Elmer and Amber Mae (Sauer) Barandon. On April 10, 1954, she married Frederick Klatt who predeceased her.
Amber was employed by the A & P in LaGrangeville for many years. She was a member of the Tri-County Seniors for over 20 years.
She is survived by her sons, Frederick "Teddy" Klatt, Richard "Ricky" Klatt, and Peter Klatt; her grandchildren, Jason, Peter, and Allie; and her sister, Carol Murphy.
Donations may be made in Amber's memory to the Salvation Army.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10 am at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Please visit Amber's Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
