HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Amy Rose Webb, 49, an 18-year area resident, passed away on September 12, 2024 after a short illness. She previously lived in Mahopac.

Amy was born in Mount Vernon on November 7, 1974. She had been employed as an office assistant for the New York State Department of Education.

Amy enjoyed photography, dancing, and listening to music, especially Bon Jovi. She also liked social media, including posting videos on TikTok. She was a cosmetologist who always made sure her own hair color was as fun as her personality! Amy worked closely with Turning Point, which became a very important part of her life over the last 5 years.
Amy will be remembered as a fierce soul who was very generous to others. There was nothing that she could not handle. She was a proud mother, the love she had for her children was immeasurable.

Amy is survived by her children, Hunter Webb and his wife Alli, Kai Webb, and Emma Webb; her mother, Christine (Gallucci) Taibi; her brother, Matthew Taibi and his wife Marissa; her niece, Lila Taibi; her husband, Michael Webb; loving uncles, aunts, and cousins; and many loving friends who were more like family to her. Amy was predeceased by her father, George Taibi.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4 - 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
