Amy Michele Silver Willesen, 6/1/66 – 5/22/16, of Toftlund, Denmark passed from this life today, May 22, 2016.

Against seemingly insurmountable odds, hardship and pain, Amy remained a loving, caring and incredibly stoic sister, daughter and wife. We are sad that she is no longer with us. Her mother, Roberta Lorio, and her incredibly loving husband, Torben, went above and beyond to keep her safe and comfortable for many years.

Amy is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Torben Willesen of Toftlund, Denmark; his parents, Tova and Leo Villesen of Toftlund, Denmark; her mother and stepfather, Roberta and Vincent Lorio of Poughquag, NY; her father, Irwin Silver of West Palm Beach, FL; her brother, Howard Silver and his fiance Lori Feller of Jupiter, FL; her stepsister, Joanne Calore (Brandon), and their children of Cornwall, NY; her stepbrother, Vincent Lorio (Lauren) of Glens Falls, NY; her aunt, Stephanie Ricci of Phoenix, AZ; her cousins, Samantha Wallace of Somerspoint, NJ, and Joseph Reses of Chicago, IL; and many other cousins and friends.

The family will receive guests at their home in Poughquag on Sunday, May 22 and Monday, May 23 after 2pm.
