Andrea Sue Adams, a Dutchess County resident since 1963, died at Westchester Medical Ceneter in Valhalla on Thursday, October 31, 2013. She was 65.
Daughter of the late Anthony and Regina (McNally) Carona, she was born in Peekskill on February 23, 1948.
Andy Sue's favorite hobby was crafting. She loved the beach and since 1984 visited Myrtle Beach each summer for vacation. She volunteered for the Food Pantry in Fishkill for 13 years. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
On October 10, 1970, she married Ronald J. Adams at St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt Manor. Mr. Adams survives at home.
In addition to her husband, Andrea is also survived by her son, Kris Adams & his wife Lori of Marlboro; her daughter, Kourtney Mills & her husband Ben of Montgomery; her daughter, Keli Smith & her husband Robert of Youngsville, NC; her grandchildren, Jacob, Bobby, Shelby, Lindsey, Adam, Hudson, and Parker; her sisters, Kim LaBianco-Nau & her husband John of Poughkeepsie and Jody Harris of Seattle, WA; her sister-in-law, Lorraine McGimpsey of Wappingers Falls; her nieces and nephews, Craig, Jill, Jayme, Becky, Tom, and Lori; and also many other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 2 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A remembrance candlelight vigil will mark the end of visitation at 6 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 3 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
