Beacon – Andrew Joseph Bologna, a local area resident, passed away on April 26, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 67.

Son of the late Joseph and Louise (Cascardi) Bologna, he was born on December 21, 1955, in Hewlett, NY.

Andrew was a free spirit and loved making people laugh. With his booming personality and wonderful sense of humor, he always had the habit of putting a smile on everyone's face in the room. He was a food enthusiast and sports fanatic with a great love, especially, for all the New York teams. He had a passion for horse racing and would always watch races with his dad and ended up being a horse owner himself. Andrew was a huge family guy - he was extremely close with his immediate family and just as close with his friends. He lived life to the fullest, made lasting relationships and had a special impact on anyone and everyone he met. He will be remembered by those dear to him for his endearing smile and beautiful eyes.

Survivors include his aunt and uncle, Andrea and Dennis Dombrowski; his cousins Mary-Kate Dombrowski, Anna Marie Dombrowski and her fiancé Giovany Sanchez, Andrew and Jo-Ann Cascardi and their children, and Joseph and Carol Cascardi and their children; and his sister Susan Biamonte.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Monday, May 1st, 2023 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
