Angela Giustino, 86, of Hopewell Junction, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Nyack Hospital.
Born in Sannicandro, Italy on August 30, 1927, she was the daughter of Michael Angelo and Mary Rizzi Novielli. Angela and her husband Rocco owned and operated Rocco's Delicatessen in Red Oaks Mill for many years. Rocco died on May 19, 1978. Angela loved to cook and watch the Yankees. She also enjoyed talking about her family history of growing up in Italy.
Angela is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Steven Innella; her grandson, Joseph Anthony Innella; her sister Rose Chimienti; her brothers Vito, Nick and Victor Novielli; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE IMPENDING STORM, THE CALLING HOURS FOR THURSDAY EVENING HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
