Angela Z. Romeo, 92,a long-time resident of Brooklyn, died on October 19, 2019 at the Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ossining.

Born in Calabria, Italy on August 4, 1927, she was the daughter of Vincent and Philomena Zavaglia. Angela had worked as a seamstress in theaters for many years.

Angela was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Romeo; and her son, Vincent Romeo.

She is survived by her son Carmine Romeo and his wife Lorraine of LaGrangeville.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1975 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor Committee.
