Angelina Pagano, 80, a resident of Dutchess County since 1985, formerly of the Bronx and Sicily, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, October 31, 2009.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was a member of Holy Trinity Church and attended the Senior Citizens Center in Poughkeepsie.
Born in Caggi, Sicily on January 5, 1929, Angelina was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Venera Barbagallo Tomarchio.  On April 7, 1951, she married Venero Pagano in Piedemonte Etneo, Sicily.  Mr. Pagano predeceased her on August 12, 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Pagano and his wife Stella of LaGrangeville and Carmine Pagano of LaGrangeville; two granddaughters, Christina and Amanda Pagano of LaGrangeville; a brother, Sam Tomarchio & his wife Mela of Sydney, Australia; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45
a.m. on Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie.  Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
