LAGRANGE – Angelina Patierno, 80, an area resident for 49 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on October 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in New York City on June 18, 1942, she was the daughter of Joseph and Genoveffa (Grieco) Cecere. Angelina had worked for many years as a salesperson for Macy's in Poughkeepsie. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.

On September 19, 1964 in the Bronx, Angelina married Raymond Patierno who predeceased her on September 28, 2003. Angelina is survived by her children, Michael Patierno, and Maria Flora-McKeon and her husband Chris McKeon; her daughter-in-law, Rose Patierno; her grandchildren, Raymond III, Nicholino, Frankie, Sofia and Maddox; her brothers, Frank Cecere and his wife Cathy, and Eugene Cecere and his wife Barbara; her sister-in-law, Sally Cecere; her brother-in-law, Carl Hanchet; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Angelina was predeceased by her son, Raymond Patierno in 2017; and her siblings, Lucy Perez, Mary Boumann, Rose Pasquale, Armando Cecere, Josephine DiPietro, Jennie Hanchet and Benedict Cecere.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 11:30am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Angelina's memory for cancer research.
