Angelo Mario Carino, 73, a four year resident of Poughquag and formerly of the Bronx, died on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Putnam Hospital Center.
Born in Italy on July 1, 1937, he was the son of Angelo Raffaele and Rosa Tellone Carino. Angelo was employed in construction, most recently for TJR Construction. He was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.
Angelo is survived by his wife, Gerardina Anna Zarra; his sons, Antonio Carino and his wife Anna of Poughquag, Raffaele Carino of Florida, Pasquale Carino and his wife Carmela of the Bronx, Gerardo Carino of Poughkeepsie and Franco Carino of Poughquag; his grandchildren, Davie, Angelo, Lisa, Alessandro and Anthony; his great-grandson, Anthony; his brother, Giuseppe Carino and his wife Maria of Italy; his sisters, Rosa Caruso and Anna Carino of Italy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Anthony Carino, in 2008.
Calling hours will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
