In Loving Memory of Angelo Fortunato Incorvaia

Angelo Fortunato Incorvaia, 75, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Angelo was born on September 15, 1950, in Gela, Sicily, Italy, to Salvatore Christopher Incorvaia and Rosaria Sarina Zuppardo. In 1961, at the age of 11, Angelo came to Poughkeepsie, New York, where he attended Poughkeepsie schools and began building the life and legacy his family will forever cherish.

Known as "Foot" to many of the friends he grew up with, Angelo was hardworking, determined, and someone his family and friends could always depend on.

Angelo spent his career in the glass industry, and in 1980, he opened his own company, Hudson Valley Glass & Metal Works, Inc. Through years of dedication and hard work, he built a successful business before retiring in 2005. He took great pride in what he built, but even greater pride in the family he worked so hard to provide for.

Angelo knew how to enjoy life. He was an avid bowler and loved skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, cars, boating, and watching old cowboy movies. He enjoyed traveling to various islands, but some of his happiest memories were made closer to home, on the Hudson River. Angelo loved being on the water and spent many years aboard his boat with his family, enjoying the river and the time they shared together.

Above all else, family was everything to Angelo.

He shared 55 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda (Pagano) Incorvaia. Together they built a life, raised three children, welcomed their grandchildren, and shared more than five decades of memories.

Angelo is survived by his wife, Linda, and their three children: Angelo S. Incorvaia and his wife, Kelli D. Incorvaia; Dara Jane Lippert and her husband, John M. Lippert; and Sarina Rose Eljamal and her husband, Hamza Eljamal.

One of Angelo's greatest joys was being "Nonno" to his six grandchildren: Angelo Joseph "AJ" Incorvaia, John Prospero Lippert, Lukas Anthony Incorvaia, Brodie Christopher Lippert, Ilaria Rose Eljamal, and Zayn Hamza Eljamal. Being their Nonno was a role he cherished deeply. The love he had for his grandchildren, the memories they made together, and the pieces of himself he passed on to each of them will remain with them throughout their lives.

Angelo was hardworking and dependable, kind and generous, and deeply devoted to the people he loved. He showed his love through the life he built, the sacrifices he made, and the countless ways he was there for his family.

His family will miss his presence, his stories, the traditions they shared, and simply knowing that Nonno was there. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable space in their lives, Angelo leaves behind something that cannot be lost-a family forever shaped by his love, strength, and devotion.

His legacy lives on through Linda, their children, their grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Celebration of Life

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Angelo's life on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pirate Canoe Club, 140 Rivercrest Road, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.

It feels especially fitting to gather along the Hudson River, a place that held so many wonderful memories for Angelo. He loved the water and spent countless days on his boat with his family, enjoying the river, the outdoors, and most of all, being together.

We invite all who knew and loved Angelo to join us as we share stories, memories, and laughter and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
