POUGHKEEPSIE – Anna DiCarlo, 97, passed away peacefully at her home on February 15, 2024.

Born in the Bronx on July 31, 1926, Anna was the daughter of the late Luigi and Elizabetta (DiAntonio) Ricci. She was predeceased by her husband Donato DiCarlo in 2008; and her brothers, Joseph Ricci, Ed Ricci, and Nick Ricci.

Anna enjoyed gardening and doing crafts. In retirement, she and Dan traveled extensively around the United States in their van, and they visited all the continents. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always had a smile on her face. Her kind demeanor and sweet temperament will be missed by all.

Anna is survived by her children, Susan DiCarlo, Charles DiCarlo and his wife Kathie, and Dan DiCarlo and his wife Mercedes; her grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Jonathan, Stephanie, and Daniel; her great-grandson, Griffin; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 12 – 4 pm with a funeral service at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:30 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne.
