WAPPINGERS FALLS – Anna L. Myott, 78, a lifelong area resident, died on June 6, 2022 at her home.

Born in Poughkeepsie on May 22, 1944, she was the daughter of Otto and Katherine (Geer) Schneider. Anna enjoyed cooking, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Those who knew her, for years or just days, will remember her radiant smile.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Sherry Murray and her husband, Stephen John; her grandchildren, James, Heather and Samantha Murray; her sister, Katherine Olah; and several nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Myott, in 2001.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 7:30pm.
