Anna (Lezon) Parmelee, 98, a lifelong local resident, died Wednesday July 12, 2023. She was born on January 8, 1925 to John and Helen (Gawlikowska) Lezon. On August 11, 1951 at St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie, she married Lawrence "Larry" Parmelee who predeceased her in 1988.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Parmelee) Lynch, son-in-law Thomas Lynch, grandson Larry , and great-grandchildren Richard and Ashley, with whom she made her home for many years. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Jessica, and a great-grandson Shawn.

Anna is predeceased by her brothers Andrew, John, William, Joseph, Frank and Leo, and a sister Mary.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday July 17, 2023 at St. Joseph's Church 9 Lafayette Place Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday July 20, 2023 at St. Joseph's Cemetery 40 Evergreen Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY.

The family would like to thank "The Pines" in Poughkeepsie, where she made her home for the last several years, for their caring and compassion.
