Anna Marie "Bonnie" Piucci, 83, a resident of the Town of Fishkill since 1999, formerly a lifelong resident of Buchanan, died at her daughter's home in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, January 12, 2012.
Born in Peekskill on August 30, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frederico and Rose Marie Gallucci Boniello. In 1999, Bonnie retired as a Maternity Nurse for Hudson Valley Hospital Center after 49 years of service.
On May 24, 1953, she married Carmen Paul Piucci at Assumption Church in Peekskill. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Pucek and her husband Anthony of Hopewell Junction; her daughter, Sharon Turner of the Town of Poughkeepsie; her daughter, Annette Reynolds & her husband Russell of Hopewell Junction; her son, Carmen Piucci of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; her daughter, Reneé Rodriquez and her husband Michael of Hyde Park; her grandchildren, Kelly Pucek of Hopewell Junction, Nichole & Jacqueline Turner of the Town of Poughkeepsie, Danielle & Stephanie Reynolds of Hopewell Junction, and Brianna & Aydin Rodriquez of Hyde Park; her great-grandson, Logan Reynolds; her sister, Katherine LeMatty and her husband Paul of Highland; her brothers, Frederico Boniello & his wife Joan of Highland and Joseph Boniello & his wife Mary of Beacon; also many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was predeceased by her siblings, Rose Guardineer, Carmen Boniello, and John Boniello.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, January 16 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption, 131 Union Avenue, Peekskill followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery.
