Anne M. Cleary, a Fishkill resident for almost 30 years, died at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie on Friday, March 13, 2015 following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 62.
She was born on August 4, 1952 in Yonkers, where she grew up and attended schools. Anne was predeceased by her parents, the late Donald and Frances (Somers) Forshaw. She was also predeceased by her brother, Jack Forshaw.
On June 25, 1978, she married Thomas M. Cleary at the First Reformed Church of Bronxville. They first settled in Mahopac before moving to Fishkill in 1987.
Anne worked at Fishkill Beer & Soda for many years, and later went on to work at Hopewell Oasis, where she remained up until her illness would not let her continue.
She is survived by her husband, Tom at home; her daughter, Michele Riccoboni & her husband Peter of Fishkill; her son, Thomas M. Cleary, Jr. & his fiancé Cristina Pan of Pleasant Valley; her granddaughters, Racheal & Amanda; her sister, Sheila Carey & her husband William of Yorktown Heights; her brother-in-law, Richard Cleary of Sanford, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 16 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
