HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Anne M. Petrera, 49, an area resident since 1991 and formerly of Mahopac, died on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
Born in Mount Kisco on May 9, 1963, she was the daughter of John and Violet Snow Topf. Anne was employed as a Systems Programmer for IBM, Yorktown for 22 years. In 2010, she opened a consignment store called "On Second Thought" in Cold Spring. She was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
On September 21, 1985, Anne married Frank Petrera. She is survived by Frank Petrera, Sr.; her sons Frank Petrera, Jr. and Nicholas Petrera of Hopewell Junction; her sisters, Jean Durante and husband Chris of Carmel, and Barbara McCauley of Tampa, FL; her brother, John Topf of Carmel; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
