Anneliese Kolhosser, 95, a resident of Wappingers Falls and Stormville, died on February 1, 2022 at Lutheran Care Center.

Born on May 14, 1926 in Germany, Anneliese was the daughter of Wilhelm and Katharina (Kahrs) Maack. She married Heinrich Kolhosser who predeceased her. She emigrated to the United States in 1954 with her husband and oldest daughter.

She was the owner and operator of the Veterans Group Home in Stormville. She was active in the Wappingers Senior Center and loved cooking. Her family always came first no matter what.

She is survived by her children, Ursula Segatti and her husband John of Stormville, Marlies Kolhosser of Farmington, CT, William Kolhosser and his wife Michele of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, John Segatti and his wife Mandy, Eric Segatti and his wife Michele, Samantha Goldstein, Drew Goldstein and his wife Emily, Xavier Kolhosser and Kaiden Kolhosser; her 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 11am-1pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1400 Route 52, Fishkill with a funeral service at 1pm.
