Hopewell Junction- Anthony J. De Caro, a Hopewell Junction resident for the past 20 years, previously from Westchester County passed away on January 27, 2024. He was 94 years old.

Anthony was born on April 18, 1929, in Mt. Vernon, NY, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Vozzi) De Caro.

After completing High School, Anthony attended Westchester Community College and majored in Architectural Drafting. With a grateful heart, he then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy where he was an Aviation Mechanic.

On October 5, 1959, Anthony married Carole (Corbellini) in Brooklyn, NY. She survives at home.

Anthony enjoyed skiing and playing golf. He was an animal lover and made sure to feed the birds and squirrels.

In addition to his wife Carole, Anthony is survived by his daughter Elissa and her husband Kevin Bayersdorfer, his son Anthony De Caro Jr., and his beloved grandchildren, Michael De Caro, Ryan De Caro, and Taylor De Caro and his wife Eileen.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at McHoul Funeral Home Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY from 2 pm-5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at St. Denis Church 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, NY. Interment to follow in St. Denis Cemetery.
