STORMVILLE – Anthony Cirrincione, Sr., 77, an area resident since 1964, died on May 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He previously lived in Mount Vernon.
Born in Mount Vernon on April 16, 1944, Anthony was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Maietta) Cirrincione. Anthony managed his father's business, Stormville Golf Driving Range, where he worked for over 25 years until his retirement in 1989.
An avid fan of the NY Yankees, Anthony also enjoyed bowling, reading, watching the Hallmark Channel, and doing scratch-off lottery tickets. He was a history buff who liked to visit historic sites and loved learning about American history.
On April 12, 1969 in Hopewell Junction, Anthony married Susan (Donohue) Cirrincione who predeceased him in 2012 after 43 years of marriage.
Anthony is survived by his children, MarySue Cirrincione of Highland, Anthony, Jr. and his wife Erin of Hopewell Junction, Michelle McIntyre and her husband David of Stormville, and Michael Cirrincione of Wappingers Falls; his grandchildren, Timothy McIntyre, Matthew McIntyre, James Simmons, Shane Gallo, Patrick Cirrincione, Connor Cirrincione, and Emma Spain- Cirrincione; his great-grandson, Ayden McIntyre; his brother, Thomas Cirrincione and his wife Elaine; his sister, Arlene Cirrincione; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A memorial service will follow at 1:30pm at the funeral home. PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required.
