Anthony J. Costanzo, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Hudson Valley Hospice House on December 15, 2023. He was born on January 23, 1943 in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn, NY to the late Pasquale and Carmela (Migliaccio) Costanzo. On September 7, 1963 in Brooklyn, he married his wife Patricia E. (Tammaro) Costanzo. Patricia survives at home.

For many years, Anthony was a Police Sergeant with the Town of Bedford Police Department in Bedford Hills, NY. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, long car rides, and classic cars. He was a history buff and excellent storyteller. Anthony was a very dependable person with a strong work ethic who always had his loved one's backs. Family was very important to him.

In addition to his wife Patricia, Anthony is survived by his children: Dominick Costanzo and his wife Annie, Patrick Costanzo and his wife Carolyn, and Camille Costanzo; his grandchildren: Carmella Costanzo, Joseph Minet, Anthony Costanzo and his wife Nicole, and Patrick Panzarino; his very good friend Benjamin Vasta; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was also predeceased by his brother Joseph Costanzo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023 at 10 am at St. Columba Church 835 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wappingers Falls.
