HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Anthony David Gagliardi passed away on May 5, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 47.

Anthony was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on April 25, 1977. He attended the University of Western Ontario receiving an HBSc. in Biochemistry and subsequently his Master's degree. He then made the move to Westchester County, New York, where he has been a devoted Researcher for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals for over 16 years.

It was here that he met the love of his life Abigail (née McPherson), where on April 6, 2013 in Wappingers Falls, they married. He is also survived by his children, Anthony Mason and Carissa; parents, Antonio and Beverly (née Feltham); sister, Candace Gagliardi Sharpe; grandmother, Pietruzza Gagliardi; his mother-in-law, Caroline McPherson; brother-in-law, Carlon (Vanessa) McPherson; his nephews, Andrew and Benjamin McPherson; various aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends who he considered family.

A memorial service is being held on Friday, May 17th at 4pm at Trinity Episcopal Church Fishkill, 5 Elm Street, Fishkill.
