Obituary

Corporal Anthony Joseph Sieber, 70, a resident of New Port Richey, FL since 1979 and formerly of the Bronx, died at his home on March 12, 2017.

Born in Germany on November 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Anton and Rosa (Fuhrman) Sieber. Tony was awarded the Eagle Scout honor with the Boy Scouts of America. Corporal Sieber proudly served our country in the US Marines during the Vietnam War in Hotel Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Regiment, 1st Marines, 1st Platoon, 2nd Squad, 1968, and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Tony is survived by his sisters, Maria Kullmann of Hopewell Junction and Ann Morrill of Newburgh; his nieces and nephew, Heidi Kullmann, Heather Todisco, Matthew Mullin and Amanda Albert; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 11am-12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be at 12pm followed by interment in the Veterans Section of Fishkill Rural Cemetery with military honors. All service men and women are invited to attend the burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
