Anthony Wrobel, 66, a resident of LaGrangeville, died on September 18, 2024 at The Grand at Pawling following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on December 23, 1957 in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late David Lawrence and Carolina Frances (Boger) Wrobel. Tony was a master carpenter who worked on many projects in Dutchess County. He was also a talented musical artist who spent countless hours working in his music studio doing what he loved. Known as Tone in the music world, he recorded and produced a number of albums and singles using his unique blend of country rock, folk, and rhythm and blues, available through Spotify, Apple Music, and other music outlets. He was a creative artist, well known in the community for his amazing chainsaw sculptures. Tony was very proud of his sculpture of musician Daryl Hall, which stands at the entrance of Daryl's House Club in Pawling. He was loved by many for his unique personality and quirky sense of humor.
Tony is survived by his brother, David Wrobel and his wife Debra of Amherst, NH; his sister, Sharon Reel and her husband, Chris of Leighton, AL; and his sister, Carol Lynn Flood of Evans Mills, NY.
