Antoinette Guarnieri, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 1993, formerly of Yonkers and the Bronx, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was 84.
Daughter of the late Rocco and Maria "Loretta" (Lisi) Francescucci, she was born in the Bronx on September 4, 1940. Antoinette attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician. She worked for Eva of Sweden in Scarsdale, NY for many years. Part of her job included the operation of several satellite salons in various nursing homes throughout Westchester County. She took great pride in her work and always felt rewarded for her ability to boost her clients' self-esteem.
Antoinette was a dedicated parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. She was an amazing cook and always loved entertaining family & friends, especially during the holidays. She enjoyed music, dancing, taking walks, and had great affection for children and animals. She enjoyed vacationing, especially being at the beach in Maine and Florida. More than anything else, Antoinette cherished spending time with her family.
On October 6, 1957, she married Joseph Guarnieri, Jr. in the Bronx. She was predeceased by her husband, the love of her life on June 18, 2018 after nearly 63 years of marriage.
Survivors include her daughter, Lorraine Montano of Fishkill, NY; her son, Joseph Guarnieri of Sarasota, FL; her daughter, Maria Miano of Fishkill, NY; her daughter, Lisa Emanuele & her husband James of Wappingers Falls, NY; her granddaughters, Marisa and Alexa; as well as many nieces & nephews and countless other loving family members and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Antoinette was also predeceased by her sisters: Cristina Cefaloni, Teresa Ranallo, and Anna Spigno.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 7 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Entombment will follow in the Community Mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
