LaGrangeville - Antonia Tenuta, 90, formerly of the Bronx, died on November 14, 2018 at her home.

Born in Italy on April 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Chiodi) DelliCarpini. Antonia and her family have owned and operated Sonny's Restaurant in LaGrangeville for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville.

Antonia was predeceased by her husband, Cesare Tenuta, in 2006; her son, Saverio "Sonny" Tenuta in 2015; and her siblings, Minnie Perrino, Angie Cipollone and Vincent DelliCarpini. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemaria Ruffolo; her granddaughter, Toni Ann Ruffolo; her daughter-in-law, Millie DeGuardia; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by entombment in St. Raymond's Cemetery.
