EAST FISHKILL – Arlene Janet Mandola, 71, an area resident since 1973, died on August 14, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Greenwich, CT on March 10, 1948, Arlene was the daughter of the late James E. and Florence M. (Wheeler) Clifford. She worked as a manager at A & P in Greenwich, CT and Goldens Bridge, NY until her retirement. She enjoyed visiting Aruba where she vacationed for over 20 years!

She is survived by her husband, Patsy Mandola at home; her brother, Jim Clifford and his wife Cheryl of Greenwich, CT; her son, Patsy Mandola and his wife Lizette of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Evan and Carenna Mandola; her sisters-in-law, Theresa Rumsey and Maryann Milo and her husband Matthew; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Betty Ann Schmeiler and Diane Gentile.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
