FISHKILL – Armando Barquin, 88, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2021 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.
Armando was born on May 19, 1932 in Cuba to the late Antonio and Cristobalina Barquin. On September 1, 1960, he married the love of his life, Concepcion (Turuseta) Barquin. He will be remembered as a beloved husband and family man for 61 years. Armando was employed by General Motors of Tarrytown for 34 years until its closing in 1996.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Alina M. and Frank Tamburello, Armando X. and Joan Barquin, and Susan F. and Scott Johnson; his grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Devin, Armando Jr., Olivia, and Madelyn; and his sister, Esther Rodriguez. He is now in heaven with his grandson, Brandon. He was an amazingly kind and loving father and grandfather that dedicated his entire life to his family and home.
