Arthur "Artie" Thomas Boffardi, 60, a resident of Fishkill and previously of Shrub Oak, died suddenly on August 8, 2021 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital.

Born August 20, 1960 in Brooklyn, Artie was the son of Arthur and Roslyn (Tropea) Boffardi. Artie grew up in Long Island before he moved to Shrub Oak. Artie was an elevator mechanic for 40 years with Local #1 until his retirement. After his retirement, he decided to go back to work and became an elevator inspector with QEI, which he did for three years. An avid hunter, he was the treasurer of the Yorktown Sportsmen's Club.

Artie is survived by his parents, Arthur and Roslyn Boffardi; his children Arthur Boffardi and Madi Boffardi; his sisters and their husbands, Gail and Bill Boddy, and Lori and Michael Salvoni; his nieces and nephews, Casey and Anthony, Chris and Vicky, Billy, Mikey, Angela, Kimberly, Nicholas and Jaime; and his great-nephew, Anthony.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 12-4 and 6-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
