Arthur John Dragonetti, 96, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2008 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Monday, October 20, 2014 at his home.
Born in Manhattan on December 15, 1917, he was the son of Julius and Mary Castellano Dragonetti. He proudly served our country in the US Army during World War II and was the owner and operator of D&L Printing in Manhattan. He was a parishioner of St. Columba Church and a member of the East Fishkill Seniors.
On November 21, 1942, Arthur married Theresa Panella who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Arthur Dragonetti and his wife, Pamela of Hopewell Junction; his daughter-in-law, Denise Dragonetti; his grandchildren, Michele Gallo, Michele Murnane, Tiffany Gallo, Joseph and Marlene Gallo, Jennifer Dragonetti, Angela Dragonetti, Sharon and Corey Ehrhart, Douglas Dragonetti Jr. and Michael Dragonetti; his great-grandchildren, Shane, Fayth, Cameron, Shawn, Ava, Jolee, Joey, Zachary, Nicholas, Danny, Anthony and Michael; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews including Carole Panella and Johnny Panella. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Doug Dragonetti in 2005; his granddaughter, Shannon Burke in 2014; his sister and brother.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
