Wappingers Falls- Arthur C. Manfredo passed away on May 7, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center due to a brief illness. Born in Mount Vernon on January 26, 1948, he was the son of Arthur and Dorothy (Cardello) Manfredo. Arthur grew up in the Bronx but spent his teenage years in Yorktown Heights, where he met his high school sweetheart Allyson Barry.
Arthur served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the NY Telephone Company for 31 years. In his younger years, he loved to go on family hunting trips with his father, grandfather and cousins. Most of all, he enjoyed family gatherings, and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, going to their various school and sporting events.
Arthur is survived by his former spouse Allyson (Barry) Manfredo; his daughters: Kim Doyle and spouse Tommy of LaGrange, NY and Kristen Klump and significant other Scott Pacella of Red Hook, NY; son: Artie Manfredo and spouse Lynn of Pleasant Valley, NY; his grandchildren: Gillian, Patrick, Christopher, and Arthur; his sisters: Claire Furano and brother in-law Jack of the Villages, FL and Ellen Manfredo of Beacon, NY; his nieces Marcy Furano and Stacey Robilotto and spouse Steve of Fairfield, CT; his great nephews Matthew and Andrew, as well as many beloved cousins.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Arthur and Dorothy (Cardello) Manfredo, and his brother in law Vincent Lettieri.
Calling hours will be held on Friday May 13th, 2022 from 10am-1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Funeral Service will take place at 1pm. Burial will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery.
