HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Audrey A. Rundle, 91, passed away on February 7, 2022 with her family by her side.

Audrey was born in Peekskill, NY on June 17, 1930 to the late Philip J. Delaney and Caroline Rothweiler Delaney. On October 12, 1952, Audrey married Richard A. "Buddy" Rundle, Sr. in Peekskill at the Assumption Church. Richard predeceased her in 2014.

Audrey was an LPN working first at the old Peekskill Hospital and then the Peekskill Community Hospital in the maternity ward for over 47 years.

Audrey and Buddy always loved to host backyard barbecues at their home on Dyckman Street. They also loved to have all of their family to all holiday events at their home. Family was number one.

Audrey was an avid New York Yankees fan. She didn't miss a game and loved talking about the games and the team.

Audrey is survived by her three sons, Richard A. Jr. (Kathy), and their children, Richard A. III (Heather), and Jessica Melendez; Robert M. Sr. (Donna), and their children, Samantha Kroener (Casey) and Robert M. Jr.; and Kenneth P. (Lisa), and their children, Amanda and Kenneth. She is also survived by her grandsons, Douglas Eyles (Kristy), and Christopher Eyles (Allie); and six great-grandchildren, Finnley and Delaney Rundle, Jennessa and Brandon Melendez, and Julie and Lucas Eyles.

Audrey was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Eyles, in 2012.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Assumption Cemetery in Peekskill.
