Auguilda "Ginger" Rosario, 82, an area resident since 1992 and formerly of Yonkers, died peacefully on November 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the Taconic at Hopewell following a brief illness.

Born on October 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Monserrate Diaz and Angelina (Perez) Diaz. Ginger was a teacher and college professor, retiring from the Yonkers Federation of Teachers after many years.

Ginger was a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fishkill. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed traveling across the country and throughout the world. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her family.

On April 4, 1964 in the Bronx, Ginger married the love of her life, Fredrick Rosario, who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Marilyn Murphy and her husband Michael, Erick Rosario, Selene Rosario and Matthew Rosario; her grandchildren, Christine and James Murphy, and Nickolas VanTassell ; her siblings, Israel Diaz and Estelle Roman; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 2-4 and 6- 8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11am followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
