Barbara Ann Brannen, 71, died on Christmas Day at her home in Kingston. She had previously resided in Stanfordville.

Born in the Bronx on March 31, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elsie (Wassmuth) Ulland. After enjoying many years as a stay at home mom, Barbara volunteered at a local library, and spent some time helping at the Grace Smith House. Barbara enjoyed reading and gardening, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her former husband, Stephen Brannen; her son, David Brannen and his wife Jessica; her grandsons, Liam and Finnegan Brannen; and her siblings, Louise Clark, Elizabeth Walker and Paul Ulland. She was predeceased by her daughter, Allison Brannen; and her brother, Robert Ulland.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 11am to 1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
