Barbara Ann Buonfiglio, 70, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Barbara was born November 12, 1939 and grew up in Yonkers. She was employed by Bank of America in Kingston for 10 years until her retirement in 2008.
A devoted mother, she is survived by her daughter Linda Zalesny, son-in-law Frank Zalesny and their
children Frank Zalesny and Jessica Zalesny Barber; her son, Peter Campbell and his children; her brother George Theophall and his children Diana, Ryan and Gregory.
Barbara found joy in the simple things in life. Her favorite time of year was summer. She loved her family, sunshine, swimming and painting. She had a fun-loving spirit and she touched everyone she came in contact with. She passed down to her family and friends an example of how to live a life full of faith, hope and love. She will be missed by many.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Howard Lawler officiating.
